Curricula
InYou Ministries offers discipleship curricula for students (Jr. High - College) and adults. Our unique approach to discipleship begins with the disciple. It is very life-experience-oriented. I like to say I disciple people from their emotions. Even with this new generation of “postmodern” students who think with their feeling (don’t most people!?), InYou’s curricula hits home, because it starts with where they are in the moment. Our goal is to get to the heart of the issue every time! Like the Apostle Paul, we strive with people “until Christ is formed in you” (Gal. 4:19).
InYou Ministries’ curricula focus on leading students (and adults) to experience and express Jesus in the NOW. Thank God for the promise of heaven in the future, but what about his daily hell? What is Jesus doing for the believer moment-by-moment to deliver us from sin, Satan and self?
InYou Ministries’ curricula are born out of real life experiences. We don’t teach principles, because principles don’t work, God does. If principles worked, we wouldn’t need Jesus; instead, we would boast in them and sell curricula—HA! God longs for the YOUnique expression of His Son—”Christ in you” (Col. 1:27-28)—to be revealed (see 2 Cor. 4:10-11; Gal. 1:15, 4:19). The moment you share one step further down the road than you are walking with Jesus, at that point you lose the power of God on your life (see 1 Cor. 2:4). The power of Christ is manifested in weakness (see 2 Cor. 12:7-10), so we’re not talking about “perfection” but authenticity (or what I call “emotional integrity”)!
Each lesson draws out a gut-level realness with God. At a genuine, experiencial, feeling level, the disciple is able to connect with where they are in the moment, and who they really are in Christ, for Christianity IS Christ—no more, no less!
InYou Ministries offer curricula in a single, four-session, and even eight-session format. Check out the titles and descriptions available now, but remember to check back from time-to-time to keep an eye on what’s coming! Please call and let us know how we might customize a study just for you. Executive Director, Scott Wolfe, brings to the writing table over 20 years of youth experience, both in local church and para-church ministries, and also fathers three boys, two of which are teens!
