The Wolfe Pak …

Cooper’s AYSO soccer team is in first place. Tournaments begin this weekend in Spartanburg, and next in Charlotte, NC. He didn’t get a part in “Narnia” (Little Theatre) so he’s been busy writing his own play…with many characters, scene changes, etc. It’s pretty amazing actually.

Carson finished his football season. (Not a very good year!) He plans to wrestle now. He had a great bonfire in the backyard with his friends and he started selling knives for fun.

Chase did great as “the messenger” in Spartanburg Little Theatre’s “Merlin’s Tail of King Arthur’s Sword.” He got to skip school for 8 performances Oct. 13-16. We also hosted the cast party (about 25 teens) and had a blast playing football in the front yard, hanging out in the basement and Chase and a few guys eve swam (COLD!). Chase also tried out for “Narnia” with his brothers and got the part of Tumnus (the goatman). Play practice has already begun as well as wrestling. He made straight A’s in all honors classes!

Kelli and I enjoyed a “Song of Solomon” conference together at FBC, Taylors. An old Texas friend, Neil McClendon, was speaking. She’s doing the same ol’-same ol’ and collapses in bed every night. We’ve SO enjoyed the fall weather this year and the many visitors in our home. We’ve planted a few more trees, but desperately need bushes! Kelli sang in a special night of worship at Hope Point and is still discipling three Jr. High girls. The whole youth group, with new Youth Minister, Matt Lyda and his fiancé, Britney, has been meeting in our basement each week this month. Last week, we also hosted the parents for prayer and encouragement. We all had some fun at the Beacon and Bowling last Saturday.
