The Wolfe Pak, August 2006

The Wolfe Pak …
Carson spent his last week of summer at Camp Voyager w/ FBC, Spartanburg. He had a blast with friends and camp counselors (who told me they were “in love” with him)! He literally got off the bus from camp, ate, then got back on a bus to attend Discipleship Weekend with Chase and nearly 400 teens from FBC. They are going through Experiencing God this fall.

Kelli and Cooper went to 4th grade together this year. Kelli has a tougher group of students this year, but is managing well (as usual). Cooper loves Mrs. Boggs (also a friend of Kelli’s). He’s already enjoyed three birthday parties including one with horseback riding…yee-haw!

Both Chase and Carson made the football cuts. This is Carson’s first year in school football (7th grade) and he is practicing at wide receiver and safety. Chase shocked us, after making the Dorman 9th grade team, opting to resign and take a role as Messenger in the Spartanburg Youth Theatre’s Merlin’s Tale of King Arthur’s Sword. He will be performing in about 10 shows this October. He loves the 9th grade campus with block scheduling…and drama!

Kelli took a little trip to Atlanta to furniture shop and play with my sister, Lori, and sister-in-law, Courtney. I got to be involved in an “extreme makeover” project for the Sobeski’s, redecorated it while they are in TX and, of course, I painted it red…”luxurious red” to be exact. Other than that, just the same ‘ol same ‘ol.
